From IFS Applications 10 to IFS Cloud
Standard Support for IFS Applications 10 ended on 27 March 2025. If you have bought IFS Cloud and are upgrading, IFS’s Extended Support terms cover up to two years: until 27 March 2027, or until your go-live if that comes first. Not live by then? Extended Support only continues to 27 March 2028 if you can show an active IFS Cloud upgrade and migration plan.
Eqeep helps you put that plan together. We check your extensions, integrations, reports and workflows first. Then we plan the route, the tests and the go-live with your team.
What the IFS support dates mean for IFS Applications 10
IFS lists three support stages for IFS Applications 10. Standard Support ran until 27 March 2025. Extended Support is available from 28 March 2025 to 27 March 2028. Restricted Support follows from 28 March 2028: you can still log cases, but IFS releases no new updates and there is no target handling time for cases.
If you are moving to IFS Cloud, 27 March 2027 is the date to plan around. After that date, Extended Support depends on a demonstrable, active upgrade and migration plan. Your own agreement with IFS decides which terms apply. Sources: IFS Extended Support Terms (February 2026) and the IFS Unified Support Policy (January 2026).
For the full inventory checklist and route options, read our IFS Applications 10 migration guide. Release and service updates after go-live are covered under technical upgrades.
Six steps from IFS Applications 10 to IFS Cloud
Each step ends with a decision by your team. Eqeep prepares the information for that decision.
Step 1
Check your support position
Confirm which support terms apply to your agreement and when you need a decision on the route.
People decide: IT and management agree the target window.
Step 2
Map the current environment
List the extensions, integrations, reports, workflows and batch jobs in use. Note what you keep, what moves to IFS Cloud standard functionality and what you retire.
People decide: process owners confirm what still matters.
Step 3
Choose the route
Compare a technical upgrade, a reimplementation on the IFS Cloud standard or a phased route. Customisations, data quality and process changes decide which one fits.
People decide: your team chooses the route before delivery starts.
Step 4
Test in a shadow environment
Run regression tests on your processes, customisations and integrations. Key users review the results.
People decide: key users accept or reject the test results.
Step 5
Go live with a fallback plan
Agree the timing, the acceptance criteria and the fallback route. Plan any interruption to operations.
People decide: your team gives final go-live approval.
Step 6
Hypercare, then stay current
You get agreed support in the first days after go-live. After that, IFS Cloud has two release updates a year and monthly service updates.
People decide: your team sets the update rhythm.
What Eqeep checks before the upgrade
Together with data quality and test capacity, these findings set the scope, the test plan and the cutover.
Extensions and customisations
We check which custom code and configuration still supports a process, and which can move to IFS Cloud standard functionality or be retired.
Integrations
We list the systems that exchange data with IFS, who owns each interface and what needs retesting after the upgrade.
Reports
We check which reports and analyses teams actually use, and which need rebuilding, replacing or retiring.
Workflows and batch jobs
We map automated flows, events and scheduled jobs, and the processes that depend on them.
