In this blog, Ralph shares his experiences, talks about what brought him to Eqeep, and how he spends his time off.
Versatile job
As a Senior Functional Consultant at Eqeep, I support companies in implementing the IFS ERP solution. As a senior, I don’t just focus on the technical aspects, but also provide training and I support organizations strategically. It’s not just about teaching them how to use the system, but also how to adjust their business processes to work more effectively. I also train my colleagues within Eqeep. I have been working here for five years now and it is still a challenging and fun place to be.
Why Eqeep
Before joining Eqeep, I worked at Bugaboo, where we transitioned to IFS. There I was responsible for the supply-chain part of the implementation team. This included leading the decision-making process around functional design and training the global key users during the implementation of IFS. During that time, I worked closely with Eqeep consultants and was positively surprised by both IFS’ solutions and the Eqeep company. When a former colleague from Bugaboo, Patrick Lamme, switched to Eqeep, he got me so excited that I decided to take the plunge as well. And I haven’t regretted it for a day. The atmosphere at Eqeep is cozy and the colleagues are all very approachable. We are a small company with a close team in which everyone knows each other well.
Growth
I have no definite plans for the future. I will see what comes my way and like to let things come to me. For now, I want to develop further in what I am doing now. Pre-sales activities have also been added to my responsibilities over the past year. I see enough opportunities to continue growing within this role for a few more years.
Sports, travel and the good life
In my free time, my wife and I like to take walks with our dog Winni, an adopted dog from Romania. I also do a lot of sports like playing soccer, padel and running, and I love the burgundian life, so good food and drink is definitely part of it. Traveling is another great passion of mine; I love to be on the road. My last trips were to Limburg and Texel, nice and close to home. This past year I went on safari in Tanzania and soon I will be going to New York. My schedule is actually always full.
