Our solutions: choose your IFS route by industry, outcome or layer

Choose the route that matches what your operation needs next: industry, business outcome or IFS layer. Start with the question that already has an owner.

Power generation and grid operations

Where the pressure shows up first

Asset managers in Energy & Resources, including power generation and transmission & distribution, deal with ageing assets, scarce technicians and growing pressure on uptime. IFS Cloud connects asset records, field work and investment planning on one data model, so operational data supports capital decisions instead of arriving after them. Eqeep is IFS Specialized Partner in the Benelux for manufacturers and energy and utility companies. Start with the Energy & Resources route.

Service directors often see margin per contract only once a quarter, while field service managers watch technicians retire faster than they are replaced. With installed base and service contracts in one system, margin becomes visible per contract, per asset and per visit. IFS FSM and IFS PSO then match skills and schedules dynamically. See Service contracts & margins and Field productivity.

Planning and purchasing teams find that the January plan is wrong by March, and purchasing pays the difference. Demand Planner feeds a statistical forecast straight into IFS ERP, a weekly signal instead of a quarterly spreadsheet. For CIOs and IT leads, IFS Cloud releases arrive twice a year, and falling too far behind puts support at risk. Eqeep plans the update cycle around your calendar, tests in shadow and installs with a fallback ready. For organisations still on IFS Applications 10, Extended Support ends on 27 March 2028; read how we plan technical upgrades.

Solutions by business outcome

In our IFS projects the question is rarely the software, it is the result. Filter by role to find your starting point.

Field productivity

You want more jobs per technician

Operational intelligence

You want deviations caught before they fail

Asset availability

You need production lines to keep running

Demand forecasting

You want a forecast you can plan on

Service contracts & margins

You need margin visibility per contract

Working on IFS with us

Wind turbines, Emergya Wind Technologies

Emergya Wind Technologies, from Excel workarounds back to IFS

EWT designs and produces wind turbines of 250kW, 500kW to 1MW. A third party had implemented IFS with little user involvement, and many users switched to Excel. Management and key users were interviewed, Eqeep verified and tested the upgrade to version 9, and the quality of data such as lead times, minimum order quantities and lot sizes was improved. Service engineers now book materials on tablets, straight into IFS. Those bookings used to be monthly.

One chain from question to route

Start with the question that already has an owner. From there, the route becomes simpler.

  1. Question

The pressure that has an owner

Sector-specific? Choose Manufacturing or Energy & Resources. A recurring decision? Start with Industrial AI or a business outcome.

  2. Mapping

    Operating model and IFS setup

We map the operating model, your IFS setup and the decision that needs better control.

  3. Route

    Process, platform or AI

Improve the process, modernise the platform or start with one focused AI use case.

How to choose the right route

Should we start with an industry, an outcome or an IFS product?

Start with the question that is already creating pressure. If it is sector-specific, choose Manufacturing or Energy & Resources. If it is a recurring decision, start with Industrial AI or a business outcome. If the platform question is clear, go straight to IFS Cloud, consulting, support or success.

Where does Industrial AI belong in the map?

Industrial AI sits above the sector routes. It connects data, decisions and execution across manufacturing, energy, service, maintenance and planning.

How does Eqeep decide the first step?

We map the operating model, your IFS setup and the decision that needs better control. From there the route becomes simpler: improve the process, modernise the platform or start with a focused AI use case.

We were implemented by another partner. Does that matter?

No. With Release-ready, together, we can assess any IFS environment, regardless of who built it, and switching support partner does not require reimplementation.

Can IFS run alongside SAP?

Yes. Many energy organisations keep core ERP stable while modernising asset, service or investment planning around it. The operating model decides where IFS adds the most value.
