In previous blogs, Erry de Boer, CEO of Eqeep, shared his personal journey and practical experiences. He told how he went from the shop floor to the boardroom, and how his background in design & build gave him a different perspective on IT. Today he zooms in deeper on what drives Eqeep as an organization, and especially: why our people make the difference in delivering on our promises to customers.
A big promise
‘We empower organizations to stay ahead in their business’; that’s our mission, but it’s more than that. Organizations have a goal in mind, an ideal world they want to reach. We help them get there. We enable customers to maintain a leading position in their sector AND develop a strong bond with their target audience. This translates into four core values that determine everything we do. We are customer-focused: we think from the customer’s perspective and their challenges. We are quality-focused: we only deliver solutions we stand behind. We are results-focused: we focus on what truly adds value. And above all, we are reliable: we do what we promise.
Looking beyond software
This goes much further than just implementing ERP solutions. We always look at the bigger picture. What business issues are on the table? What trends and developments are coming? Where is the market in which the customer operates heading? We want to truly understand what challenges our customers face. Only when we know that, can we help them well. Through this broad perspective, we can create the best solutions and combinations. This way we arrive at a complete package of services and solutions, precisely tailored to what the customer needs.
The power of loyalty
We can only deliver on this thanks to our people. Some have been working with us for almost 10 years, like Erik. And take Mithun; after a stint at another employer, he quickly returned to Eqeep. He discovered that his career goals and ambitions are best realized here. It’s really a fun company, with great people. That high loyalty is something I’m enormously proud of. Take Amber: she started here as an intern and has now grown into one of our key players. And there are more former interns who stayed after graduation and have grown beautifully.
Growing together
Let me be honest: I’m not successful without these people. They are the ones who keep the organization running. It gives me enormous energy to see how they develop. Because just as we help our customers move forward, I like to help my people grow. And they help me in return. That’s the essence of true empowerment.
